K9 Care Montana

"Together We Make a Difference"

K9 Care Montana is devoted to providing the highest quality Service Dogs at no cost to our nation's Wounded Veterans, First Responders, and children challenged by Autism. We do not train medical alert dogs.

Our nation's wounded warriors have given their all to protect our freedoms and we at K9 Care Montana believe it is our turn to give them back their freedom.

Every child challenged by autism has different obstacles in their daily lives. By providing them with service dogs it provides many different benefits that help them overcome those obstacles. A child that can connect with a dog can connect with the world.

We rely strictly upon corporate and personal donations. Every amount no matter how small makes a huge difference! Please explore our website and learn more
about us and how you can help. Please also visit our FAQ's page if you have questions.

MONTANA FAKE SERVICE DOG / HB 439 is now law!

For those of you following the Montana service dog law revision, HB 439 was signed into law by Governor Bullock. We are proud to be a part of creating change that protects individuals with disabilities, including those with hidden injuries or illnesses. This change updates 49-4-214, MCA. The change aligns with American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) and creates a misdemeanor component for individuals who misrepresent an untrained dog as a service animal. It's a small fine, but may be enough of a deterrent to help eliminate untrained dogs being everywhere.

This was a huge effort by a lot of people including DeeDee Baker, Janet Austin, Bill Austin, David Riggs, Adele Delp, Madie Sanford and Ali Hance, just to name a few. Special thanks to Denley Loge for sponsoring this bill and getting it across the finish line!
